About the Role
We are seeking an experienced CT / X-Ray Technologist (ARRT CT/R) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Juneau, Alaska. The technologist will perform diagnostic radiography and CT imaging while maintaining high standards of patient safety, image quality, radiation protection, and clinical care.
Candidates must be certified in both ARRT Radiography and Computed Tomography and be comfortable performing imaging across different patient age groups. The role also requires participation in call coverage with a 20-minute response time.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic X-Ray and CT examinations of various body regions according to established imaging protocols.
Prepare, position, and safely transfer patients while applying appropriate radiation-protection and patient-safety practices.
Operate radiographic and CT equipment, evaluate image quality, and maintain accurate patient and imaging records.
Support departmental quality assurance activities, equipment readiness, infection prevention, and efficient imaging workflow.
Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech and participate in rotating shifts, call coverage, and other assigned imaging duties.
Requirements
Minimum 1 Year of CT / X-Ray Technologist Experience Required.
Current ARRT Radiography R.T.(R) Certification Required.
Current ARRT Computed Tomography R.T.(CT) Certification Required.
Current BLS/BCLS Certification Required.
Completion of a CT/X-Ray Training Program Required; Flu Vaccination and Ability to Meet the 20-Minute Call Response Requirement Required.
