Position Overview

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Full-Time Marketing Specialist to support the execution of our marketing initiatives across events, content, social media, email, and public relations.

This is a hybrid role with a combination of remote work and in-office collaboration. The Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Marketing Manager and will have a strong focus on conference and event coordination, content development, and day-to-day marketing execution . The ideal candidate is a strong writer, comfortable managing multiple deadlines, and able to take ownership of projects from planning through completion.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both the creative and logistical sides of marketing and wants to make a meaningful contribution to a growing marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

Events & Conferences

• Support the planning and execution of industry conferences, trade shows, and company events.
• Manage event logistics, including registration, deadlines, shipping, booth materials, promotional items, signage, and other event assets.
• Coordinate the preparation and shipment of booth materials and marketing collateral.
• Maintain event calendars, timelines, checklists, and other planning documents.
• Research conferences and identify relevant sponsorship, exhibitor, and speaking opportunities.
• Manage the submission of speaking applications, session proposals, and speaker abstracts.
• Coordinate with internal speakers and subject matter experts to gather information and prepare submissions.
• Support pre-event promotion, on-site marketing needs, and post-event follow-up.

Content & Thought Leadership

• Write and edit blog posts, case studies, press releases, and other marketing content.
• Ghostwrite content on behalf of company leaders and subject matter experts, adapting their ideas and expertise into polished, engaging content.
• Research topics and develop content aligned with industry trends, company priorities, and our brand voice.
• Repurpose existing content into social posts, email content, and other marketing assets.
• Help maintain and organize the content calendar.

Social Media

• Help plan and coordinate the social media content calendar.
• Draft and schedule social media posts across relevant platforms.
• Repurpose blogs, events, webinars, podcasts, company news, and other content for social media.
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather content, updates, and announcements.
• Monitor basic engagement and performance metrics and help identify opportunities to improve content.

Email Marketing

• Draft and build marketing emails, newsletters, event promotions, and other email communications.
• Schedule email campaigns and support ongoing email marketing initiatives.
• Assist with audience segmentation, list management, and basic reporting.
• Help develop email content based on campaigns, events, and other marketing priorities.

General Marketing Support

• Assist with webinars, podcasts, campaigns, and other marketing initiatives as needed.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to keep projects moving and deadlines on track.
• Track project deadlines and follow up on outstanding items.
• Support other marketing projects and initiatives as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities independently.
• Strong project coordination and follow-through.
• Comfortable researching topics and turning information into clear, engaging content.
• Ability to write in different voices and effectively translate subject matter expertise into marketing content.
• Basic experience with HubSpot preferred.
• Basic experience with Canva preferred.
• Experience with social media platforms and content scheduling.
• Experience with email marketing tools is preferred.
• Experience with event or conference planning is a strong plus.
• Marketing, communications, journalism, or related experience preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.

In this role, success means keeping marketing projects organized and moving forward while taking ownership of key areas of execution. You’ll help ensure our events run smoothly, our content pipeline stays active, our social and email channels remain consistent, and our thought leadership reaches the right audiences. The ideal candidate is someone who can take on a project, understand what needs to happen, stay on top of the details, and see it through to completion with minimal oversight.
