Job Description
We are an established precision manufacturing shop located in Nassau County, Long Island, seeking a reliable and motivated CNC Machinist to join our team. Whether you are an experienced machinist or a talented individual earlier in your machining career, we provide a collaborative environment with opportunities to refine and expand your skills.
We operate both CNC Mills and CNC Lathes, focusing on high-precision components. Experience in aerospace manufacturing and machine setup is a plus, but we are fully open to hiring greener machinists who have a solid foundation and a eagerness to learn.
salary: $41,600 - $62,400 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 8 PM

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities - Set up and/or operate CNC Mills or CNC Lathes (Okuma and Mazak equipment).
- Load raw materials, run production parts, and monitor machine performance.
- Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet precise blueprint specifications.
- Make necessary adjustments, tool changes, and offsets during production runs.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
Qualifications & Requirements - Experience Required: Prior hands-on experience operating CNC machinery (this position is not suitable for candidates with zero machining background).
- Machinery Knowledge: Experience with Okuma and/or Mazak controls (Mill or Lathe/Turning).
- Openness to Learning: We welcome candidates with lighter experience ("greener" machinists) who are eager to undergo further training and development.
