Essential Duties & Responsibilities Transporting crushed rock, sand, gravel, broken concrete, debris, broken asphalt, etc. to and from specified locations. Verifying the types of materials being transported and ensuring that materials are loaded Transporting Heavy Equipment such as dozers, excavators, rollers, attachments, etc. Verifying all types of equipment being transported are properly tied down. Inspect Trucks/Tractors/Trailers before and after every trip or as required by management. Maintain Accurate Driver Logs. Maintain proper documentation per regulatory requirements for transport and disposals. Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned. Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications Education Requirements: Valid Class A/B Commercial Driver’s License. Valid Medical Examiners Certificate – must pass DOT physical Level of Experience Requirements Good Driving Record Proven Experience operating tractor/trailers, dump trucks, walking floor trailers, etc. Working Knowledge of construction site safety, truck maintenance, and road safety regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills Effective communication skills Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions Out-of-town & overnight travel is required Must comply with the Company’s drug and alcohol testing requirements Must pass pre-employment Fit for Duty Physical Preferred N/A Supervisory Responsibilities This position will not have supervisory responsibilities.
